How to reduce PDF size without uploading
Choose a PDF, set your target size, and select Make it fit. Fold first tries content-preserving optimization. If you opt into image-based compression, pages are rasterized: text, links, forms, accessibility structure, and signatures are not preserved. Inspect the preview before downloading, and keep your original.
Can I compress a PDF to 500 KB or 1 MB?
These presets are targets, not guarantees. The smallest tested result is offered if your target cannot be reached. Encrypted PDFs are unsupported, and files above 100 MB are rejected.
Does my PDF leave my device?
The workspace processes document contents locally. Your browser downloads the application resources, but your PDF is not uploaded for compression. Close the tab or choose another document to clear the current file from the workspace.
