Snap Entire support.
Need a hand with your full-page screenshot? Start here for setup tips and solutions to common capture issues.
Your first full-page capture.
- Install Snap Entire using its listing in the Chrome Web Store.
- Open Chrome’s Extensions menu and pin Snap Entire to your toolbar.
- Visit the webpage you want to capture. Wait for its images and content to load.
- Select Snap Entire to begin capturing, then use the extension’s controls to save the result.
Let’s get your capture working.
The extension does not start on a page.
Try a regular public webpage first. Chrome restricts extensions on internal pages such as chrome://settings and on the Chrome Web Store. Refresh the webpage after installing the extension, then try again. Check that Snap Entire is enabled in Chrome’s Extensions settings.
Images or parts of the page are missing.
Some websites load content only as you scroll. Scroll through the page once, wait for images to load, and return to the top before trying again. Close any pop-ups or overlays that cover the content. Embedded content may behave differently from the rest of the page.
A sticky header appears more than once.
Fixed headers, floating widgets, and moving elements can affect how a webpage is captured. If the website offers a way to collapse or dismiss these elements, do so before retrying. Include the page address and a description of the repeated element when reporting the issue.
The page keeps scrolling or the capture takes too long.
Pages with infinite scrolling may keep adding content. Try a shorter page or a version of the content with a fixed end. Wait for the page to finish loading and avoid changing tabs or interacting with the page during capture.
I cannot find my saved screenshot.
Check Chrome’s Downloads page and your configured download folder. If Chrome prompts you to choose a save location, complete that dialog. Retry the save action in the extension if no download appears.
